I just exported all of the objects (forms, queries, tables, reports, etc) to
a new database and all of the buttons changed slightly and look a lot cooler
and more modern. However when I brought the same file to work they changed
back when I opened it. I modified it a little and brought t back home and the
buttons are cool looking again. How do I make them look cool like this all
the time?

What operating system are you using at home vs. work? What settings do you
have selected on each?

Windows XP home edition at my home and Windows 2000 at work are our current
operating systems. We did have xp at work too and the buttons were the same
as they are now. The database is set to be windows 2000 file type. Let me
know what settings you want to know. Is there one certain setting that does
this? When I copied all of the objects to another blank database at home is
the first time that I have seen this change in the buttons appearance. I have
done this before at work and the appearance never changed.

Perhaps you are using access 2003.

If you got windows xp, and sp1 or later, then you can turn on themed
controls.

Here is a serious of screen shots with themed controls turned on, and turned
off.

This feature is only available with windows xp (sp1 or later), and access
2003.

If you look at the following screens in ms-access, they all have themes
turned on..and they certainly look more modern
