When I am searching for various websites for cheap
flights or the main airline website,just as an example,
I enter the address in the address bar. Then as the site
starts to arrive there is a noise like a burp (popup
stopper noise) and it throws me back to my Desk Top. I
wonder if I have a virus of some sort which AVG is
missing.
So far I have removed all pop up stoppers, run Adware and
Spy Bot...removed Yahoo Bar, I run AVG every moring, done
System restore,selected a date three days before it
occured, when I try and enter try and use Run When I
enter sfc /scannow,and click ok it immediately closes and
takes me back to the desk top !!!
Downloaded Oera as I thought it might be IE but it
happens with Opera as well.
I thought that Opers was worl#king but it has the same
problem...
IE is not logging what is happeniung as a fault!!! It
believes it is shutting down correctly.
