i was wonder why my computer stop letting me copy burn or even listen to
music. So every time i try this error keeps coming up "Windows Media Player
cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not
support the format you are trying to play." Can you tell me why this is
happening to me.

thank you

That error message is a generic one... might mean anything.
Check if you did not install another program which reassigned the handling
of the files - might be burning software or another player.
Another place to look is CD Burning Services (or so) - should be on
Automatic or Manual.
Yet another place to check would be your CD/DVD burning drive software.
