Did you verify your download by either the SH1
or MD5 sum to ensure it is a good download?

Where did ya download the iso from?
Did you use the AKAMI download manager-? It's causing problems; for
some ppl.

Yes, I did. I've tried several programs to try and burn this to a disc. But I
get some kind of error message from each, and can't proceed. I got the
farthest in the process with your Burncdcc suggestion...but then another
error message. Is there a better alternative? We're all into instant
gratification, but maybe it's better to wait to get a DVD in the mail.

Here's what I tell everyone;
#1 Akami seems to be giving some folks grief. And on the download page for
rc1-you'll see;on the right side, the same links.
But;they are under a header; that says; Use your own browser/download
manager.
That's exactly what you want to do.
First; don't use your browser; get a download manager;and install it.-- I
chose free download manager;it's free; and it.s here :
www.freedownloadmanager.org
then, choose your version under that header; the download manager you
have installed-- see above--lol;
will grab it. And depending on what one you use; you can adjust the speed.
If you pick the one above;in the options;at the top;you'll see;
optimization.
Open it;and set it to your download speed;default is 512kbs- I chose t1 and
was averaging 775kbs.
It works great too.
Then burn it with burncdcc. Seems from what you are saying; the one you have
is messed up.
Burn slow too. I used 1x
