Bullets in Word

Help! I need to create a Word document that needs to have atleast 5 or 6
different bullets in it. How can I set this up? My boss just loves bullets
for everything.I will probably have to use this often so I will need to make
it as a template.

It can be done but it would be better to teach your boss that they are just
frosting. Content is more important. (I know - easier said then done).

Format - Bullets and Numbering - click on Bulleted tab - click on any of
them - customize. Have fun.

Use different styles for the different types of bullet list. I would
recommend you use paragraph styles, setting up the formatting as explained
in

Alternatively, you could try setting the different bullets up as list
styles - you'll be more on your own here as most of us use paragraph styles
for all formatting.

Don't try to do this with direct formatting (Format > Bullets and
Numbering), as the bullet formatting is likely to disappear or change when
the document is moved to different machines. Storing the formats as styles
in a template is much safer and predictable, and will make it easier to
impose some sort of order on the bullets - name the styles for the bullet
purpose.

Note that if the different bullets are for different levels, you can set
them up in an "outline" list - this will let you promote/demote list items
easily.
