Bullets don't show up 2007

I've located a post in Feb from this NG that referenced the same issue I am
experiencing. There was not an solution in that post.

Problem: When opening a PP 2003 file with bullets, the bullets disappear.
Furthermore, from that point on, any new presentation do not display
bullets, whether they are saved as PP2003 or PP2007. Has anyone else
experienced this and can you kindly share the solution. I notice when I try
to customize the bullet, I can pull from other fonts but not from Windings.
Any selection from Windings simply shows up as blank bullets. Word 2007
works just fine with bullets.

I have done the following but still have the issue:

Run Diagnostics
Do an Office 2007 repair
Replace Font on the presentation
Installed all Office and Windows Updates.

I'm running this on XP prof SP2 + all updates.

I guess I answered my own question:

I noticed that changing the default printer to another printer fixed the
issue. I closed PP2007 then set the default printer to the original setting
and the problem returned. Anyone want to take a guess of why this causes an
issue with PP2007 and bullets?

I see the printer driver resolved it for you. That's great.
