Bulleted List defaults

2 questions on bulleted lists in Word 2003:

1) How do you change the style that comes up when you click the "bullets"
button on the formatting toolbar? It has defaulted to a new style I created,
and I can't figure out how to change it back to the default style. I just
want to get the old bulleted list that you can use to indent sub-bullets for
subsequent lines (the way Office 97 did it).

2) How do you eradicate a style from Word? I created a new style in Word,
and then deleted it using the Format->Styles and Formatting dialogue, but it
still comes up when I hit the "bullets" button on the Formatting toolbar.
I've deleted it many times, but it won't seem to go away!

Thanks!

You have to choose Format>Bullets and Numbering, click on each of the
modified bullet and numbering schemes and click Reset; that way, you
will get back Word's defaults and you won't see deleted styles again.

Note, however, that pressing the Bullet button is an awkward way to
apply bullet formatting to paragraphs in Word. Instead, make sure that
you store the desired formatting in a bulleted style and apply that
whenever you need it. For more information, see:
