bullet pattern resetting

I have a co-worker who has Word 2003 and starting with page 3 of his document
the pattern of the bullets changes. The beginning of the document has a
different bullet shape for each level of indentation. Starting with page
three, the pattern changes. His document is about six pages long and he
would like the pattern of bullets to remain the same throughout the document.
What got goofed up?

Set up the bullets using styles in an outline-numbered list (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/bullets/controlbullets.html). If you have
already done this, press Ctrl+Q to clear any paragraph settings not in style.
