Building upon a slide

How do you start with a slide and then each slide after that add something to
the existing slide to create a "build", so that at the end you have one slide
with each "new" thing on it. Hope this makes sense. I did it by hand, but
there has to be an easier way.

You could do it like you've been doing it, but work
backward. But I agree with you, there's a better way.

Use Slide Show > Custom Animation to build everything on
a single slide. Here you can control whether you want you
builds to appear on a click or automatically.

I see what you are saying too about starting from the back and building
foward, but that is just has hard. Glad to know I'm not the only one
suffering with this. Thanks! Maybe we'll get lucky & someone will post the
proper way to do this.

I'm sorry, I did not see your Slide show > Custom Animation note. You
are exactly right, that is how your can create it. I'm doing a sample right
