Dear Sir,
http://www.intel.com/design/intarch/swsup/IEGDWin.htm
Download Intel 855 xpe driver and import to intel_repositories by component
database manager. But after import, I did not see Database manager create a
key number and copy files to dir. What's wrong? Any one try to import this
driver and has same pb ?
And target designer still can find this import component and can drag to
design .. but after building, it has the following errors.
...........

3.4.0.570, R2]"...
Warning 1116: Building unreleased component: "Intel Corporation 855

Fam,

When you used CDM (Component Database Manager) to import the component, did you have "Copy repository files to repository root"
checkbox set on the import dialog?

KM,
Yes, I enable the check "Copy repository files to repository root" . But the
result is after import, no dir. with Key_number created under
intel_repositories (I set this for my intel Repository root) . Who can try
this component?
But I import the intel 82551ER ethernet component (from same intel
website), it's OK without pb.

Thanks.

Neo,

The link you provided earlier does not present Intel 855 chipset drivers but rather 815 and 810/810E/810DC.
So I can't verify the same SLD you are using.

Anyway, just at quick glance at the SLD files of IEGDWin I noticed that Repository is NOT set up there and all the components of SLD
files do not have an association with any repository. It is definitely not convinient for those who prefer just importing SLDs.
However, that is unlikely a bug since in order to install the components it is not enough just to import SLDs but you have to run
Utilities\Setup.exe. (please read Documents\RELNOTES.txt first)

If you don't want to mess up with the Setup.exe and since all the file are in the zip, you can easy "fix" the SLDs by creating a
repository and associating all the components with it.
