Someone recommended using Merijn's utility BugOff.
Can't seem to find much info about it, but what I have found suggests
the exploits it protects against are already patched through Critical
Updates.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Frank, it is pretty much obsolete now but running it has some nasty side
effects:

* mhtml: exploit, creoss-domain vunerability in Outlook Express.

No patch available yet.
Side effectswhen disabled Outlook Express will fail to display email
messages.
BZZT! I doubt you want that!

* ms-its: exploit, used on malicious websites together with mhtml: exploit.
Side effect when disabled: The Windows Help System may not function.
BZZT! I doubt you want that!

Install SiteAdvisor that will give you an indication that you are on a BAD
site:

Thanks for the reply YoKenny.
That's what the info I had found was indicating.
Merijn has done some really great work and while BugOff was was very
helpful at the time, it appears that time has past.

Regards,
Frank
