Bug with FrontPage 2002 and Vista

There is one known bug in VISTA (not fixed yet) that causes FP to crash when
using the Insert hyperlink dialog.

Is there a fix in the works for this? It seems as if Microsoft gets pretty
lackadaisical when it comes to fixing these bugs. And this is the only reason
I haven't upgraded.

Application related issues are generally fixed in patches from the app
developer and you should be aware, the Microsoft App folks are separate from
the OS folks. Your best bet is to check the Office 2002 website and,
perhaps, the microsoft.public.frontpage.client newsgroup.

Interestingly enough, Vista apparently allows you to insert a hyperlink in
frontpage when you're doing it on the hard drive. However, as soon as you
attempt to apply a hyperlink insert on the web site, it fails. If you update
the hyperlink on your hard drive it will export to the web site successfully.

Thank you Ralph I use a hard drive. Never have worked directly with the web
site. Now I'm ready to move to Vista.
