bug: shortcuts disappear

Running in Cached Exchange mode PLUS Classic Work Offline Mode (because of
an insane amount of bugs in Cached Exchange mode).
If you switch to Work Online (connected) and if you close Outlook or shut
down Windows while still in Work Online mode, your shortcuts set up in the
Outlook shortcuts section disappear when you restart.

There are no non-standard characters in the shortcut names.

Highly annoying.

Tried resetting the Navigation Pane already?
Start Outlook with the /resetnavpane switch and try again.

Also; what bugs in Cached Exchange mode are you talking about?

The ones where your client-side rules (against POP accounts for instance)
don't run unless the connection to Exchange is available at the exact time
when Outlook starts (which is not always the case if you're a road warrior
and connect to Exchange over VPN).

The solution is to make sure Exchange is available at startup (even if you
disconnect the VPN later... the rules continue to work) *or* (I discovered
after hours of trying to figure this out) you make Outlook ALWAYS start in
CLASSIC "Work Offline" (which cached exchange mode was suppossed to render
obsolete).

More bugs. I could go on.

No, but I'll give it a shot.

Just discovered that this happens in non Exchange environment as well. Loved
the concept and I had it just the way I wanted it and it disappeared. The
disappearance happened (maybe co-incidentally) after a Windows Security
update. Not even the current Office update made any difference after that.

Microsoft, is there a fix for this bug?
