press the CTRL-ALT-DEL sequence and bring up the Windows
Security Dialog.
Click on either "Log Off..." or "Change Password" so that
a child window appears. (Do not confirm or cancel either

child window has been dismissed.)
This means that an event can be queued.
Clicking Lock Computer will result in the computer
locking immediately after it is unlocked.
Clicking Log Off will result in the station being logged
off when it is next unlocked.
