bug in vista ultimate

Hi

I notice a problem in Windows vista ultimate
If Windows MSN live messenger does not start or freeze then if you try to
shut down or restart windows it does not work
Windows stays indefinetly on the logg off page
then you need to shut down the PC manually
I have a ASUS laptop F3SV brand new

It happened to me already 4 times

I wouldn't say that's a bug in Vista. Sometimes, a condition can be set in
the execution of a program that it could cause an O/S not to respond.

It doesn't make a difference what O/S it was and your only out is to turn
the machine off to get out of it.
