Bug in view

Hi,

When I went to view in the file manager, and I wanted to
view the hidden files, XP changed all the attributes in
the folder to hidden, and I couldn't recover from it.

It seems to me that if you want to view hidden files that
is all that should happen. View should not cause the
entire folders files to become hidden. My XP is
incredibly erratic now and I have tried everything to
recover from this. Any hints as to how I might do this?

Is Microsoft going to fix this boo boo?

Don't know what you did nor what has happened but it's
not a 'bug' in XP - I have no trouble switching from show
to hide nor vice versa - that doesn't help you though -
sorry! - someone will know perhaps

Windows XP doesn't have "file manager". Who's program are you using?
