BSOD http.sys

After updating Windows XP Professional and misc. software/programs I get a
BSOD after booting or starting up. Not immidiatly; always when the network
indicator shows activity. BSOD says:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
stop: 0x0..0D1 (0x5F228D79, 0x0..02, 0x0..01, 0xB87548D4)
http.sys

After rebooting once or twice, Windows runs normally.

Besides the fact that Windows sees 2Gig of memory while there is only 1Gig
(2x512Mb) installed, everything looks OK.

What is the problem and how can it be solved?

Sounds like bad or mismatched memory...
Try removing one stick. If the problem persists, swap with the removed stick.

Stop 0x000000D1 or DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
The Stop 0xD1 message indicates that the system attempted to access pageable memory using a
kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver. It can
also be caused by caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.

All memory checked OK, so
I tried to upgrade chipset drivers.
During upgrade I got BSOD and since then I get BSOD after every boot saying:

stop: 0x0..0FC (0xB91918C4, 0x3F36D163, 0xB91917FC, 0x0..01)

I upgraded BIOS (as planned after upgrade chipset drivers) to version
maximum possible with old chipset drivers (as upgrade chipsetdrivers most
likely unsuccesfull).
BIOS upgrade succesful; BIOS sees 1024MB RAM, as should be, but
Windows XP still gives BSOD (as above) when starting LAN.

Now what?

PS: BIOS version should be compatible with both old and new chipset drivers

I upgraded the chipset drivers (again) in safe mode.
Still XP gives BSOD

I disabled the onboard LAN (in BIOS) and guess what: Windows XP runs fine.
Problem located!

HTTP.SYS and other related drivers are ok, so I probably have a hardware
problem.

This will be my last post on this subject as I solved the problem.

With the chipset drivers came also NVidia Forceware Firewall.
I kicked it of my system permanently: problem solved!

Thanks to all forums on the net.
I hope my post will help others.
