My server is MS SBS 2000 with SP3.
I'm using AVM FRITZ ISDN@2LINES external connected by serial port. After 1
year a have decided to use this ISDN to send documents by shared fax.
I tried send documents several times and it appeared BSOD:
stop 0x0000001E .... etc. .... - avmport.sys
But now I can't install this CAPI because of the setup program of modem
driver is done with this BSOD.
I need to stop this CAPI driver manualy in registry.

My SW:MS SBS 2000 (Windows 2000 SP3)

CAPI: 2.0 (3.09-10)

avmport.sys: product version 2.0, file version 1.3.0.0, 59520 bajts

FRITZ ISDN@2LINES: firmware 1.16.12

Rather than looking to your Registry for this answer I
would recommend first trying several things. One, Disable
or uninstall what ever hardware may be associated to this
CAPI driver. Or if it is related to a Service your
running switch the service to a manual start up and then
attempt your install. Disabling or uninstalling hardware
and/or disabling services can be a whole lot easier and
safer than hacking your registry. Good Luck!

BTW, if you are unsure what device or service your CAPI
issue is associated with, you can probably find it on the
web by searching Yahoo or something of that type. I don't
recommend dogpile or any other massive search engine as it
can provide to many results that will make your task that
much more daunting.
