I have a difficult one. I got a blue screen stop message 0x0000007B and tried
to reboot with my xp disc. I tried to repair the installed xp os but I hadn't
set an administrors password. Do I have to install a new xp or what can I do?

Please go back to your original thread. Keep messages about the same
subject all in one thread.

Refer to the Repair Install instructions link I gave you in my answer in
your original thread and respond to my questions there.

You choose the wrong options for doing a Repair Install.

When you boot from the CD choose "Setup Windows XP" and not the
"Reapir (Recovery Console)" option. On a subsequent window you will
get the option to repair the existing installed Windows.

See http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm for full
details.

Good luck
