I have seen many post on using browstat and I have been unable to get it
working. Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong. I even tried it on Windows
2000. The only way I was able to get it working on Windows 2000 was
installing the Support Tools available on the CD-ROM. The same thing happens
on Windows XP. However, I have heard browstat was a stand alone program and
nothing needs to be installed so it should work, right?
The browstat program is saved in the following directory in Windows.
C:\browstat\browstat.exe
Then I try clicking Start -> Run -> CMD and in the command window when I try
to run it from the command prompt I get the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\user>browstat status
'browstat is not recongized as a internal command or external command,
operable program or batch file.
C:\Documents and Settings\user>
BTW, I have no network problems. I just want to be able to use this handy
utility.
