On a home network, if I have the WinXP Pro firewall on, what port do I have
to open if I want to go to start and run and enter something like
\\192.168.1.210\c$ to connect to one of my OTHER PC's?

Thanks inadvance

You don't need to open ports to connect to other computers on your lan;
you just need to put a checkmark in the box next to File & Printer
Sharing on the Exceptions tab in the Windows Firewall. Use its applet
in Control Panel.

I'm not a "sir" as you can see if you go to my webpage and read About
Me, but I'm very happy to have helped you. Thanks for taking the time
to let me know.
