This is probably the result of Spyware infecting your computer and hijacking
your browser. In otherwords, an unscrupulous corporation has decided to use you
for marketing dollars- without your consent!
Programs, such as AdAware (link below), will identify and eliminate the
programs caused by evil corporate scum, including those that could be
responsible for the symptoms you are describing. Download AdAware here:

Be sure to update it after installing it!
In addition, download and Install CWShredder, available from:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip
This will provide additional protection against those programs that are
devious enough to outsmart AdAware. As with AdAware, be sure you update it prior
to running it.

| changing it back, but everytime we boot up, and turn on
