browser highjacked!!

AntiSpyware has idenified a possible brower highjack in
my system. It is located in the Internet Explorer page. I
have gone thru the steps under advanced tools to reset
browser. Under the current settings the followingispresent
(res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\gdrhy.dll/sp.html#55135.

I have restored the browser setting several times and it
tells me everything is OK.

As soon as you close out Internet Explorer and go in
again my home page is changed to blank.

Please advise..

I understand where you are coming from. I have the same
problem. I go through the steps, remove it and reset the
browser, and run the scan...it is still there. I have
probably done that twenty times. I am coming to the
conclusion that this program is worthless and may be
deleting IT from my computer soon.

This is the About:Blank hijacker. It is not easy to get
rid of but can be done. Follow the procedure at:

If that doesn't work or you have problems with the
procedure then:

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select
Scan and Save Log. Note where you saved the log then
send it to me as an attachment. Put Hijack in the subject
so I'll know it's not spam.
