I am designing an Access 2007 database where on one form users will add a
hyperlink to a document based on certain criteria. For instance, they will
designate a Domain and a SubDomain, then browse to the appropriate file on
the server. I would like the hyperlink to then update in the table so that
the users will be able to link to the document from the form if they select
the corresponding Domain and Subdomain in the future.
Is there a sample database where this is done so I can understand the
process? There is a default path set up in the table: \\OurServer\MGMT and
I would like the browse window to start off there, allow the user to select
the file, then save that as the hyperlink. I would also like the hyperlink
display to only show the file name, not the path and file name.
Thanks,
Mich
