Broken reference when new user runs FE client

Hi all,

We are using BE/FE system. When a new user recieves the client(FE), he gets
the following message:"database or project contains a missing or broken
reference to the file 'FPDTC.dll' version 1.0.". Have googled it, and the
recomendation was to use the repair function, or to deselect the missing
reference. None of theese have worked, repair doesnt solve it, and I cant
deselect the used library, since references are not enabled. And even though
reference was removed, wouldnt this make the client useless since this
library seems to have fundamental functions such as "Trim" etc... Kind of a
sitting duck here, any ideas/hints would be very much appreciated.
