Broken Reference Hellp!!

D

Derek Brown

Hi all

I have a database that has in its module a reference to Microsoft Office XP
Web Components. I have no idea how I came to select this reference or what
it does. When I create a copy of the database and install it on another
computer and start the program an error message apears saying I have a
broken or missing link to OWC10.dll version 1.1. Are the two things linked
and if so (or not) how do I stop the problem. I have tried unchecking the
reference but when I reboot the reference reapears. If there is something in
my program that is using web components I am sure that I can manage without
it but how do I get rid of the reference

To get rid of the reference, open any code window, go to Tools ...
References and uncheck the one marked as MISSING. If it is a good reference
to something you are using, you can browse for it at the same location.
