I can't get my wireless to work. I'm running an Acer 4400 Travelmate with
Vista 64 installed as dual boot. I check device manager and the Broadcom
802.11g is installed and working properly. I have installed the 64bit Acer
launch manager, but the wireless switch is not active. In other words, when I
try to connect to my wireless network I get a message to turn the switch on.
I push the button and nothing happens. Does anyone have a suggestion.

Disable all network interfaces other than the wireless Broadcom in Device
Manager. Disable the Acer utility, in favour of Wireless Zero Configuration.

Did you install the Broadcom drivers yourself after installing Vista 64? I
have an Acer Aspire 5000 and installed Vista 64 but cannot install the driver
for my Broadcom 802.11g.
