Broadcom wireless card issue

I purchased a new Compaq laptop a few months ago with Vista Home Premium on
it. Needless to say, I am not pleased with all of the issues that I am having
with it.

My most recent one is that all of a sudden I have not wireless connection
due to my Braodcom wireless driver no longer being compatible with Windows.
Why has this issue happened all of a sudden and any ideas on how to fix it?

TER,

If your Compaq laptop has access to the Internet, navigate to the Compaq
website and download and install the driver for your wireless card. If no
access, then download the driver using another computer, copy it to an
appropriate media, and then install it on the laptop.

Another approach is, in Device Manager and under the Properties for the
card, select Update Driver under the appropriate tab. Sometimes Windows
finds the proper driver and sometimes not. However, it is an alternative way
to update drivers.

Another possibility is to download the driver from the card Manufacturer's
website.

It's also a good idea to download and install all the updates available at
the Microsoft update site. Sometimes you can get drivers doing that.
