shows a "Buy Now" button, I wonder if the program really was freeware
(it's home page is dead).

Tried to install the application, and read the "README.TXT" file.
It lists another homepage: http://vip.6to23.com/nodman/ . Don't know
if this will be of any help or not. There are email contacts listed
on the page. He might have released it to the public as freeware, but
that is speculation on my part. Archive.org has a "robots.txt" file
for his old site, so no help there.
