bridge.dll

receive an error message that "c:\windows\system32
\bridge.dll specified module could not be found. System
runs without this dll. Can't seem to find the dll to
reinstall it. Need a bit of assistance. Thanks in
advance.

I got nailed by WinFavorites last week and, after removing it with Adaware,
also had the bridge.dll error. The only way that I could get rid of it was
by going into the registry and deleting the key that called up this file.

After removing the key, the error message was gone. I rebooted and ran
SpyBot to remove another file called bridge.inf that was located in my
downloaded programs files. This file was kind of weird in that it showed up
as being in the file when I ran a search on the computer but did not appear
in the file when I looked inside even though my settings allow for viewing
hidden folders.
