Using: Windows XP Home Edition SP1

When I boot up, I get an error message:

Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll
The specified module could not be found.

This is a friend's machine, and I cleaned up a TON of
spyware. This error message was appearing prior to me
doing anything to the machine.

That file is spyware related. When you cleaned the spyware, it left the
..dll file.

Try to delete it & then reboot see if that gets rid of it.
