I have Windows XP home edition. Everytime it gets
rebooted an error message pops up that states an error
with the System 32/bridge.dll. "The specified module is
missing". I have reinstalled the OS for it, but the
message continues to pop up after every reboot.

Is there something else to do or some way of making the
message stop?

Thank you.

Whenever you are faced with something like this, the
first thing to do is a "Google" with the filename. Bridge.dll
returns over 11,000 entries from the search.

Your system has a Registry entry that attempts to load &
run this dll when the system boots. It is reporting that it
cannot locate the file.
You probably need to run Security/Spyware scans on
your PC. AdAware, SpyBot & CWShredder are the
preferred tools.

Your anti-virus or anti-spyware has done its job in deleting the nasty
file. I suppose you can search the registry for the call/key for the
file and delete it.
