break links crashes Excel 2002

I have Excel 2002 SP3. I often copy worksheets between workbooks and/o
e-mail them to others. The data is lost from links if the values ar
not replaced.

A feature of the toolbar in this version of Excel includes

Edit / Links / Break link


The problem is that it crashes Excel every time I try it. :confused
 
I have no idea why xl crashes--but until you find out, you may want to try

Does it happen with all your workbooks? If no, maybe that one workbook is a
problem and needs rebuilding????
