Are there any flowchart-like (remember those?) packages
that I can use to diagram a fairly simple network of
miscellaneous computers and export the results for use
in a web page?

The project is to build a collection of Linux boxen,
mainly to expand my skillset and make myself more
easily employed (I really mean it this time). To
show off, and as an additional learning opportunity,
I'd like to be able to put a diagram up on my Earth-
link web page showing things like the computer names
and a few details about the OS, CPU and memory,
contents of JBODs and to which system they're attached,
plus networking stuff like hubs, routers and the like.

try this one...

Make sure you also download the icon collections of computers and network
devices for use with the program - there are flowchart icons also for using
Network Notepad for doing flowcharts. They're all available on the download
page.

Network Notepad is a Freeware program for creating interactive network
diagrams.Runs on Microsoft Windows 9x, NT, 2K, XP.
Point-and-Click Telnet/ Browse/ User-definable Network Management.
Simple Drag and Drop interface.
Open, Text Based File Format.
Printing.
Linked Diagrams.
Flow Charts.
