bound text box

I have to add a field to a subform. I have added a field name in the table
and set it to a text data type.

When I try to add a text box to the subform and bind it to the field in the
table, the filed does not show up on the field list, nor does it show up as a
choice in the Control Source Porperty. All the other fields on the form are
in the field list and the control source property.

When I make a change to any field name in the table, that is reflected in
the field list and the control source property. I'm confused. What do I
need to to to make this a bound text box?

If you can be a little more specific may be i have a solution. Please
specific what do you want to do.
