Is it possible to have synchronized combo boxes that are
bound i/o unbound?

Nor sure what you mean by "bound i/o unbound"?
Try a repost describing what you want to do in detail, and I'm sure

If "i/o" is "instead of" then - yes; simply use a bound combo box.
What problem are you having?
