Bot up problems

I have a WIn 2K Pro machine that will not boot past the
Win 2000 Color screen. The meter runs till about half way
then hangs. I can boot to Safe mode. I have disabled some
services and uninstalled some recent Software with no
effect. Anyone have any ideas on this???

Remove the sound cards and modem card and any other non
essential adapter.

See if they are the cause of the problem.
If she then starts you know whats the prob.
Then add one at a time to find out which is the bogey.

If you have 1394 Firewire, that may be causing the problem.
It did with mine until Microsoft came out with a fix in
service pack 2.
