Borders and page numbering changes in 2007

Hi Everyone,

Quick question. In previous versions of excel i use to be able to select
multiple rows and then click the bottom border button and all the selected
rows would then have bottom borders. However when i now do this in 2007 only
the last row i have higlighted gets the boarder. Have they taken this
funtionality away or is there another way to do it?

Second quick question. I have an excel document with multiple pages that i
want to have the page number displayed at the top of. However when i click
header and footer and click the page number button and then go back to normal
view it only shows page 1 then no page number then page 3 then no page
number...and so on. Whats up with that? Can i change that?

2007 can be a little frustrating , so i hope someone can help me out.

Thanks a bunch,

I think your recollection is not quite right. To get borders on all the
rows selected you have to click the "middle" horizontal line in the dialog
as well as the bottom one. No change from previous versions.

-Select the range.
-Press Ctrl-1 to open the Format Cells dialog
-Click the Border tab
-There is a white rectangle near the center of the dialog
--Click in the middle of it, just to the right of center
