BOOTUP TIME

When 2000 BOOTs (the first screen with a progress bar) it takes up to 4 or
5 minutes with constant Hard Drive activity to get to the next screen. Is
this normal?
 
It shouldn't take that long. Check your free drive space, you may not have
enough space on your drive. Next try defragging your drive. Also check
event viewer for errors and device manager, make sure you don't have any
conflicts.
