Hello.

I am running WinXp (SP2) No problems..
I recently purchased a Sandisk 128 meg Cruzer® Mini USB Flash Drive.
I am running USB 2.0

All is working ok.

I am just curious as to why though, winxp takes 3 x times longer to boot up.
Normally pretty quick boot up but when the flash drive is connected, it
takes alot longer.

Just curious as to why?

Thanks

Darren

Hi,
It might have something to do with your antivirus
software. If u are set to 'scan' all drives on boot up,
the disk reader may by trying to read a card that is not
there. Just a thought... If u are not using the reader,
remove it and just plug it in when u need it...that is
what I do for all my usb devices. They are designed to
work on the fly.
