I'm searching for a tool like "bootprep.exe" but for windows using.

Can you help me ?

Do you mean for regular Windows? More specifically are you trying to boot XP
Pro from USB? If so, you will also need the USB Boot 2.0 files and registry
keys to do this. This is also not supported by Microsoft.

Hello Sean (I'm glad to talk with you),
I boot on a compact flash, bootprep works fine under dos. But I need a
dedicated system only for preparing CF (board + bootable CDROM+ kb
+screen).
It would be easier to insert the CF on an USB CF card reader connected
to my computer (My OS is Windows XP professional) and run a tool that
do the same job as bootprep.
Is there any program that can do this job ?

You can use Vista now to format the CF via USB - ti will lay down the boot
sector, but you have to rename ntldr to bootmgr. -
