Booting Win 2k from CD

OK, I have a OS that I want to install on my Win 2k
computer. I have downloaded the SW, and I have burned it
to a CD. How do I make Win 2k boot from a CD?

He didn't say that it was a Microsoft OS that he downloaded (perhaps it was
Linux), but the same thought crossed my mind.
