Booting on HORM setup blanks the monitor screen

Hi,
I have setup a system for HORM with a unprotected volume. The HORM setup
works fine, except for a problem of blanking monitor on each bootup.
After every bootup,the first mouse or keyboard event will blank the
system monitor for 1-2 seconds. This is happening for every bootup. This
will be annoying if the system is shipped to a customer since he sees
the system monitor blank for 1-2 seconds at each bootup. Could someone
help me to resolve this problem. Am I missing some
components/configurations ?

Shiju,

I am quite sure I understood what exactly issue you are having but I may guess you are talking about Display driver initialization.

Just in case, verify that your display, mouse and keyboard drivers got installed properly (no errors in SetupApi.log).

Also, test it out with resume from StandBy mode. If the issue is still there, it is likely a "bug" of init routine for, perhaps,
video driver going from S2/S3 to S0 mode.

You should check if the same problem happens on your device under XP Pro and if it is the case - contact video card manufacturer for
the driver update.
