boot up

My winxp will not boot up was working till sunday. Come
monday lite up the computor, hard drive starts up then
stops. Will not even get win logo

No Windows Logo?
No errors?
Not a Windows Problem.

Does it give you an option to go into system setup/bios? Does it still see
your hard drive(s)?

Check your cables.. Check your power. Listen for your hard drive to 'start
up" when you turn on your power. Make sure all cards and such are seated
properly, memory, etc...

Otherwise, if you are not good with computer hardware, it may be time for a
trip to a repair shop/warranty service spot.

supply. Swapped the cables with the other hard drive
(dual boot)
