Which version of SP2?

In the meantime:

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Change the key that reads:

C:\Windows\System32\Userinit.exe,C:\Windows\System32\Userinit.exe
To:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,

This problem can be caused by the DlDer Trojan. More information here:

I've just installed Windows XP Home Service Pack 2. My PC now boots to the
My Document Folder and not to the Desktop. How can I change this so that it
boots to the Desktop and NOT to the My Documents Folder?
