Boot up

I have a problem with the boot up. It start with the main screen. you
know.... where the Window Logo is and it say Windows XP and there is that
blue bar thing moving from left to right and so on. Well my computere wont
pass that. It will stay like that forever. Whats wrong?

Could be any number of things. Which version of XP (Home or Pro) are
you using?

Will the machine bootup into Safe Mode? To get into Safe Mode start
tapping the F8 key as soon as the machine goes through its POST stage,
you will then get a text screen with a number of options including Safe
Mode and Last known good configuration try both of these.

Did you install any software (including patches) or hardware prior to
the problem?
