I am trying to find out if a floppy formatted under
Windows XP as a system disk will actually work on a
restart. I have formatted a disk with new BIOS files,
reset boot order in BIOS but my floppy info is ignored and
the PC loads XP. This occurs even if I set the floppy as
the only boot source. Will autoexec.bat actually work as
XP loads when there is no DOS available?
