Tom M.

Sometimes when my computer comes off hibernation I get the "no boot drive
detected"
screen. Then I try a few more times and it will boot. Could it be a hard
drive
problem? I ran the troubleshooter and it found nothing. I recently used a
registry cleaner, and the computer worked great for over a week. I moved the
computer to a different location and shortly after I started having
problems. Windows XP.

Thank You for your help!!!!!!!!

That sounds like a hardware related issue.

1. If your computer's BIOS setup supports the S.M.A.R.T. option for
hard drives make sure that it is enabled.

2. Go to the hard drive manufacturer's web site and download their
free diagnostic utility. Run that to check out the hard drive for
possible problems.

Good luck
