I developed a system error & now I get a boot config menu, can anyone tell
me how to get rid of the menu & boot straight into Vista.

Cheers

You can try Startup Repair in Vista to fix boot problems, more here:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/5c59f8c1-b0d1-4f1a-af55-74f3922f3f351033.mspx

If you see a DOS-like screen counting down until it boots naturally into
Vista, you can also try this workaround:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/92fc21e5-3b29-4b09-aa11-33478ae172761033.mspx
Select Vista and either uncheck the "Time to display list of operating
systems" or set the time to 0.

If you want to know more about editing boot configuration files (advanced),
try here:
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Windo...c349-427c-b035-c2719d4af7781033.mspx?mfr=true
and here http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa362692.aspx for info
about bcdedit.exe.
