I have a Delll XPS with XP Pro SP3 installed. I recently installed Roxio Back
On Track but uninstalled it because it did not work for me and I did not like
that it replaced Windows System Restore with theirs. The uninstall was per
Roxio clean uninstall instructions, but every time I boot it offers Roxio as
a bootup choice.
My boot.ini is:
[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional"
How can I get rid of the choice? Will fixmbr do it, or should I even try.
Thanks
